Oddball with a yellow dash tower, just like a yellow '82 series. Black dash tower came with the next series tractors.
Should have had a K series in it, just like the 1282. The first CCC tractors with the Mag K was the 1050 and the later 1210/11 tractors.

Jon my 1204 had the Mag K in it and it was dated 1987. The 1050 was 1989.

The 1204 was built in 1987 and 88. Same as the 1210/11 it started out with a K301AQS and went to a Mag12. No info given for when the switch occurred. Might have been in 87 they made the switch, as the 1210 tractor starter production in 85 with the K and later went to the M. What you had is legit, and fits the profile.
