Thankyou guys! I think most of you all know the paint is the same as what Zippy1 used for his 100 restoration, Cub Cadet 759-3258 Yellow.

Duke, Thankyou for the head's up! I checked on that and we're all good, no inprints. I let it dry about 30 hours, the first 10 like this:

Just wanted to check in a bit on the 72, thanks again and keep up the good work on your cub cadets!

REALLY looks nice John. I like the cub paint, it's not cheap, but real forgiving to use, and almost impossible to get hangers, and it's easy to fix them scratches when they happen. You noticed I didn't say "if it happens'. What I do is spray a little in a rattle can cover, and use a model dispsable paint brush and blend it in. Bad thing is it dries so fast, and you get overspray, the bigger the peice the worst it is, so work fast.
Your doing a fine job

Thank you Zippy1 for the tip! Going for the finish coat on the frame, dash tower and ross steering unit in the morning. You bet, the paint dries quickly!

More snow in one day than we had all of last winter.
As luck would have it i just put the snow blade on the 149 last Saturday.
So when i finally got home tonite (took about twice as long a usual) i got a little seat time

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
