Congrats on the buck Steve, he's a dandy.
Great that you passed a few to get this one. Wish some around here would understand, "you have to let them go, to get them to grow". Yeah, those taxidermist want to make a year's worth, in four months What they getting in your neck of the woods? Good taxidermist's here are at $550.

Anyone else hunting? We were skunked on the farm for opening day yesterday. Big ones got around us. We let the little ones walk. Luck changed this morning. HIGH winds and snow flurries got the deer moving. I let everyone else choose their spots first due to the big one I got with the bow. Then this one came out with some does. I was hoping it was 3.5 year old but DEC aged it at 2.5. My brother shot one bigger but same genetics 20 years ago to the day. He has been calling this one The Super Crotch all summer and fall. He called dibs on it. However he chose his spot poorly this morning. I was simply defending myself.... Buddy of ours took this unique broke off and bent up 7 point on us this morning too.

I don't know how many of you are turkey hunters, but it's just about my favorite thing to do. This one is 1 of 4 for this years season. They were gobbling good in Central Alabama this year.

Hey Chad, congrats on the "Thunder Chicken".
Looks like a dandy, big thick paint brush for a beard. What were the spurs? I hung up turkey hunting a couple years ago. The wife is head first into it though. Nothing like the first gobbles in the mornings. Could hear that sound every morning...

Nice bird! Congrats
I have all the gear. Used to turkey hunt like a mad man till I filled my two spring tags (NY). Things have slowed down since married and two kids. I took my nephew 2 years ago and called him up a nice gobbler. Birds gobbling behind my house and just NO time.

You can tell spring is here and the varmints are out.... Bought a Hi-Point .40 Carbine to mount on my BX when doing yard work in case I see some intruder getting past the wire.... 50 yards out he made the mistake of being too curious...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
