That 107 is perfect!!!!! I just passed on a 107 today to buy this, now I'm wondering. I can't complain I picked this up for 300 with a plow that has never been on a tractor and one of the cleanest unrestored cast end decks i've ever seen. Came with these Kick a** home made fenders that someone really did a wonderful job making. They are made from diamond plate and wheigh about 35# each. The tires are original and are in great shape. It does have a replacment 8hp kohler on it, but I have a 7hp from a model 70 that I'll put in it someday. The seat is uncracked and has a well made back rest.

Default Moved cubs into barn and setup shop!!

Ok, haven't worked on my cubs in a month since I've been moving. Where I moved to the barn didn't have a garage door so I couldn't get my cubs in and out. Got an insulated garage door on Craigslist for free, I had to take it down but what a deal. So yesterday I installed the door, which I've never done before, and unbefreakinlievable it worked great:biggrin2.gif:. I will say to anyone attempting an install to take great care in setting the springs and cable!!! Today I started to set up shop and moved my babies inside, where they belong.

Nice shop!
Glad you got the door installed alright. Looks like a job. I have never tried to put one up myself.

I'm quite mechanically inclined, but was sweating the install. Did it completely by myself and I only weigh 130# soaking wet:biggrin2.gif:.

ljones: I'll get dimensions in next post, that's a good question btw!

john: you're just funny

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
