I had to replace the deck belt so I could finish mowing. I'm thinking I hit some bark in the yard from the firewood processing. Must have made some slack in the belt and it jumped off. It wasn't pretty. New belts aren't cheap either! But we are back in business.

The 2 year old always gets first dibs. (He screams the loudest) but they were all fighting over sitting on the 100. Looks like I need to add a few more round fender cubs. Oh Darn

Did some playing with the cubs yesterday. Did some discing with the hydraulic lift 108 and I've always wanted to try plowing with a 7 or 8 horse so I threw the plowin gear on the 86. Hopeing to try it out this weekend. The only sucky part is the 100% armstrong lift....

Very nice machinery! I'm jealous of your soil. Looks like it has lots of organic matter. I'm sitting on some really tight and heavy $*#^*! Missouri clay.

Watched one of my 782"s leave with it's new owner today. Making room for the 1782 which I will pick up next week. Taking the small trailer so I won't be tempted to find another orphan to bring home.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
