Yea, when I moved here three years ago my old supervisor with the city of Va beach had to look it up too LOL but instead of being nice like people down here ( hes from lower Manhattan) he said with his heavy NY accent " dude, theirs nothing there" I said " exactly I've been around this rock three times in the navy, there's a reason I bought a house there"

So far I have discovered that this place is NOT in the middle of nowhere, its in the middle of EVERYWHERE
there's only 2 things Va had that I liked that aren't here (1) the military aviation museum in Pungo (2) Zero's subs Both of which btw are no more than 60 miles away, I go farther than that at work every day
Oh and 711 coffee, but we have Duck thru here, its just as good

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
