I'll get some pics. I picked up some angle iron and carriage bolts for the side boards yesterday.

I finished building the side boards today. I used 2 rows of 1"x6"s so the sides are 11" tall. The tail gate is hinged so it will swing to the side and out of the way. Now, I've got to sand, stain, and poly them. I found some walnut stain in my garage I might use or should I just leave them a light shade and poly them?

Adam great job! I would try a sample of the walnut on some scrap wood and see how it looks. Over time the wood with the poly will darken up over time. Either way ya go it will look great!
