It's gonna take some time to get the 2 of them on the right page.
That's not a good trade at all. Hope you're able to get them on the right page.

I had to re spray the frame from this 2072 today. There was a mishap involving a frame, 2 saw horses and a ford tractor. Apparently the tractor doesn't like fresh painted stuff. SO I sanded it and resprayed it. I was hoping to be assembling today but no go.

No pics lately. My camera is dead and no one seems to know where the charger went. I'll try to come up with something.

So your wife ran the Ford into the 2072 and then sold the charger for the camera? Man she wants the Cubs gone.

Got started on reassembling it. Took a couple pics with my phone.

I'm already missing 2 bolts for the steering cylinder mounting plate. I have a 1 year old helper and he was dumping my bags out for me (Big Help). I found the rest but there's 2 painted bolts MIA.

Found a good running motor for a good price out in Ohio. I'll be going out to Indiana next month and will swing down to get it on the way.

I Worked on getting the fender pan ready for paint tonight. I still need to do the hood and sides but should have it all ready to paint by the weekend.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
