I put new bushings in the tank along with all new gas line and real hose clamps. Standard procedure for me when I have them apart.

I'm kind of going for this look, fenders will be yellow and the wheels will be Cub beige, everything else will be black.

Got it wired and the fuel system finished today and took it for a test ride. Now I need to paint the fenders and foot boards. No pics today.

Lookin' good Sam! Maybe get your vinyl guy to make up some stickers that say "Black Jack" in gold cursive letters for the hood.

I had planned on using that set of JD wheels I got from Leadslingingdaddy on this one but Cub in there infinite wisdom shortened the wheels studs 1/4" so they won’t work with the 3/8” spacers, had to put them on the other 1641 that is going to my daughter. Wonder how much they saved with 10 studs that are a 1/4" shorter? Oh well it gives me a reason to put a set of Tru-Powers on it. Gotta love the bean counters.
