Going back together nicely. All the wiring checked out. Test run went well. Hood is back on. Added a set of fender flares to it. Clamped them in place and scribed the mounting holes, took them back off, drilled the holes. Then I used my Clecos to hold them and check for fit. Next I used some of my leftover pop rivets from my racing days to attach the flares to the fender pan.

Looks good. I did sand out the scratches in my flairs and painted them with flexible texture paint and clear coated them. Made them look new.

Guys

Thanks for the suggestions on how to shine up the flares. Think I'm just going to put the rear-end braces on it for now and run it for a couple months just to be sure it doesn't have any issues. Then I can take it apart and do a decent restore on it while the weather is warmer.
