Dang Sam that's a lotta coin for 24 of them....there may be a hard surfacing rod and some steel in my future...the ends are the worst-from rubbing on the tine cover, there's a groove worn into the cover on both ends. I've been wondering what kinda noise that made...

Yep, I'm glad I only needed 20 of them. Wish I had known about that last place I linked before I bought my tines. Think I paid about $220 with shipping. Stupid money for a bent piece of bar stock with a couple of bolt holes. My tines were so far gone that it wasn't worth rebuilding them, I did think about it.

Most of mine are whooped. One side worse than the other(bearing was out on that side so it rubbed more). Some guy has tons of Troy-built tines on ePay, $80 or so for 16. They have 3 holes so they fit more than one make. Hole spacing will work. Not sure if they will fit well or how good they hold up though. Might just be money ahead to buy the OE version and be done.

I spent a bunch of time trying to find tines when I thought they were NLA. The Cub tines if I recall are longer and the bolt spacing is a bit different. I figure what I have now will out last me.

My Case tiller uses a verry similar tine. They were only 8.00 a piece. They look like they could be close. Mine have a bolt spacing of 4 3/8" on center.
