Sam this thread did not fall off the tracks it was chugging along just fine until it was pushed of the tracks. I have seen it happen more than a few times. Luckily
it got back on the rails.

Guitar here is a link of her performance.

Now that we've warmed up with trucks and guitars I think we're ready for the real question "boxers or briefs"

Having said that, any older vehicles good or better condition selling at a good price should be just fine regardless the brand because it made it that far in age!

Happy Easter folks. Ok, I'm bringing back the truck thread with a question for the Chevy / GMC owners, regarding transfer cases. While I'd prefer the manual floor shift for the 4wd / Hi / Low selection, many of the trucks I see have the electronic pushbutton. Can anyone tell me if the electronic type is more prone to problems than the manual stick? To me, electronics usually mean more issues to go wrong, but I'd hate to pass up a good deal just to hold out for a manual.

Thanks for the link Charles, she has a great voice! Best of luck to her.

The motor driven shifters have been known to give problems, like any electrical item, it don't like water/salt.
Nothing better than manual linkage.
But the later stuff is what it is,and anything can be fixed.
I wouldn't pass up a nice well cared for truck, just because it has push button
stuff, we are pretty much @ the mercy of what they build.
And Happy Easter to everyone!

All my trucks have had push button and I've never had an issue with them, when the snow starts falling I put it on auto and it stays there till spring.

JT I have had 8 four wheel drive vehicles that have had push button activation. I never had an issue with any of them. 7 were Fords 1 was a dodge.

My buddy has 03 dakota with an electric knob style, he has owned the truck for about 5-6 yrs with no issues til just recently it is trying to lock in by its self! But I think its because he had trans changed and think his kids pinched the wires or something along those lines. I have a 97 expedition (wifes) that has same knod style switch that works great. It also has auto 4x4 position. So thats where it stays for her.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
