I'm sure they make a special charger for the car, I didn't search it out. I just used a standard electric car charger for numbers. At $4.62 a night, if you go to work every day and drive half as far on the weekend, it would be about $120 a month.

Just about all of the buildings we work at have a special parking place to park your electric car, swipe your card and charge it while you work.

It's even more efficient for someone like me, who has solar panels on the roof. I'm anxious to see how the "reasonably priced sedans" do when they come out from GM and Tesla. Right now they are way too expensive for the average person to get one.

The Tesla model 3 is priced at $35k but I'm thinking there is going to be a long wait with nearly 400,000 preordered.

I have researched the solar panels for my house and they seem to be very expensive around here. I would love to have them, can you steer me in the right direction? One of my friends has geothermic and his house is around 12k square feet. And that's not counting the buildings with his cars in. He told me his power bill on all of it ran around 80.00 a month?

I went through Solar City and leased them. I see they are not in your state though. You may have to look around and see if you have any local providers that offer the lease option. I tried to do a Google search, but I was on my phone and didn't find much. I know sometimes Home Depot partners with solar providers, so you might see if they can do it. Also, the security company Vivint has gone into the solar business. Not sure if they are in your area or not.

I don't know? He is a brilliant engineer that has even built parts for the space shuttle. I do know that he has a 12 inch pipe coming out of the house draining water and it is like a fire hose.

Back to the car, I think the Ford Fusion Energi might be the one? 85mpg they claim?

And the fact that Tesla can't figure out how to build that many cars in a short time. I'm not a big Tesla fan. I don't think they will be around long. That company is so poorly managed....

A 12" dia pipe? And he is circulating this water through hundreds of feet of pipe under ground. Given the weight and volume of water, it probably cost almost $80 a month to pump it through the system (my pool filter pump is $20/month to pump water less than 15 ft in 1-1/2" hose), not to mention the multiple heat pump compressors he is running for different zones, blowers, etc. As click and clack would say: Boooooogguuusss.

P.S. I worked for an engineer who designed parts for the space shuttle early in his career. A lot of great ideas came out of his head, but so did a lot of bullsh!t.
