Thank you. I wanted to keep it as original as possible. The black fins I think look good. |

Wow! That looks really nice. I never owned a vintage cub before. I w as not to make sure I do it justice.
Just messing around with the grill today. So many little things that need done. It's just not painting stuff its fixing things that broke or wore out when this was used for work. I doubt it will see much work when I'm done with it. I'm looking forward to plowing with it at least once. Before shot of the engine and the grill |

Your doing a fine job believe me! ...
I know the deeper you look the more things that surface as I'm finding out myself. But hey these tractors are 50 yrs. old. You'll never find a tractor today that'll last a 4th of that time unless you pay the big bucks for the premium models and I even doubt it then.

Thanks I appreciate that. I have a 2012 Cub GTX and so far it's been running great. I used it to plow snow for 2 winters, but I switched over to a ATV with a plow to do the snow. The cub handled the snow just wasnt the best.

Thanks Riley
Went to Riley Henderson's place yesterday for a steering wheel and column for my 105. Couldn't get the wheel off so he let me bring the whole tractor back home. Then spent the next 3 hours checking out the coolest Ig collection I've ever seen.

We have had a lot of rain here as of late so I figured it was a good time to roll the lawn
So I tapped the 126 for some roller duty as it has only been run a few times this year for show and parade time. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
