This mess of a 1641 followed me home today. Actually picked it up from a neighbor who had it on CL.

Towed it slowly from down the road. No clue what I'm gonna do with it yet!

I think I have a problem now...

Default I wonder if

When some of those, "lows depot", mowers are 27 hears old, they might be pulling a yard and half of top soil around in a 700 lb trailer.IMG_20130622_094845_644.jpg

And then sometimes, I just let it sit out for a while to make the neighbor's jealous.

The "1210 Yard Harley" is no longer my baby, sold it last fall. Great tractor but just not big enough for this place. The 2182 has taken it's place as the go to weapon for killing grass. The new owner got one of the coolest Cubs I've ever owned

Had the "Big Dog" out today, towed the Flail mower on the area that I have been letting grow and then mowed the rest of the lawn with the Big Deck.

Default 1650 hood decals

This morning I put hood decals on the 1450 that I recently converted to a 1650. It will be going to a new owner soon and he will finish painting and add the remaining decals.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
