Got some seat time on the 782 and 1872 today. Swept the yard with the 782 and lawn sweeper. Then hauled the 1872's old turf tires and the rims my ags for the 1872 came on to the truck for Jenn. Sold them on Ebay!

Didn't realize this pic was taken but I guess it works Got all the Cubs out and got some good wrench time in. Changed the oil and filter in the 1330 and replaced a deck hanger nut that apparently had fallen off, used the 1050 as a jumper for 127, and replaced the solenoid on the 127 as well as started the long process of replacing the wiring harness. Also pulled the back wheels off and adjusted/checked the brakes, fixed the choke cable clip, and adjusted the throttle cable. Tried to pull the dash top of the tower off but the flat head screws were so rusted I accidently broke one off (after soaking repeatedly in PB Blaster ). Then ended the day with a short cruise with the g/f and a friend on all three. Was a good day!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
