Didn't get but one picture but here it is. I took my 1050 and cart to work today to move some dirt around. One of the benefits of living about 2 miles from work is I got to drive it This was the first real workout she's had since I've had her and she did great! Hauled about 10 loads of dirt around about a 10 acre property to fill in low spots after having a fountain installed. Aside from a little traction loss on a couple hills she didn't complain about her work load once!

As part of the day, I had my department working outside with me, and I let a couple of my girls take the Cub for a spin, one of them had never driven a tractor of any kind before and I think I spread the Cub bug to them Anyway, here she is after working hard in the heat.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
