Hey Bruce,

I really like the colors and will do that same paint on my 682 when I get to that point.

Talking Some of my Cub Cadets getting sun tans

I took advantage of a nice day this past Saturday and moved some of my Cubs out of the garage to do a little fall cleaning. Was a little nervouswith my wife looking down from the kitchen window. She knows I have it bad but it's never a good idea to push the envelope. The "O" frame standing upright is my 4 digit one that is being restored along with the other "O" that has the wheels.

Figured I would post a picture of the newest member to follow me home. Never owned a slant grill (that actually ran and wasn't in pieces), but I must say it is a really nice machine. Previous owner took super great care of it and had the engine rebuilt in 2003, and used it as a backup mower since then.

Brought it home yesterday, as soon as I unloaded it from the truck reattached the mower deck and mowed the lawn with it, very happy to not have to use the push mower anymore except for a bit of trimming

Now just have to put my 3-point on and some new rear tires, and it will be ready for the plow for some fall fun and then the blade for winter duty.

Mlamar , those cubbys are like rabbits they keep multiplying. Awesome to see so many cubs at one time . Very nice collection . I am envious of your garages , outbuilding , factory .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
