Got all the cubs out in the nice 80 degree weather. Had a great time riding, until the 1872 died on me. Think the ignition module may be going out. I feel like going back to all single cylinder Kohlers again..lol.

What makes you think it's the ignition module? Did it restart?

Sam, it starts fine when it's cold. Jenn was riding it around for awhile. I shut it off to get the other cubs out. Go to restart it and it won't start just turns over. I let it sit for 20 minutes and it started. While I was on the way to the shed, it died like I turned the key off. So we pushed it to the shed. No easy task pushing a super with loaded ags!

Thanks for all the concern guys. Head and neck hurt worse today. That ice under the snow really s*cks! Hands full, one step, legs fly out, ect. Prolly would've been a funny video...........
Allen, nice pix. If you get rid of your 2 cylinder cubs, you'll only be down to one. What about a smoker? It has three cylinders. Maybe you should stick to cubs with an odd number of cylinders.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
