Thanks John! We may get up to 6" maybe more. Looks like you'll be getting some snow also.

Default Cold, cold January,...

Last night's wind and snow storms produced some terrific snow drifts. Had to get out the IH Cub Cadet 71 and clean up the drive. The winter weather has kept me busy the last 8 days, some times going three rounds per day.

Paused a moment to deliver a snap-shot of a quite impressive gear drive narrow frame garden tractor outfitted with IH 42" push blade.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but that tractor looks like it's showing off after a job well done

Thanks guys! :raise my coffee cup: Lol!

I nearly lost the tractor in the ditch today clearing past the mail box. Got it out, but I was a little worried that would not be possible because of the tractor's weight. Just been so cold and slick that traction has been a issue as of late.

Take care, keep warm!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
