Won't be too long Mike. On Monday, we got 5 inches of snow. Yesterday, our temp got up to 45*. The warmest we've been since November. Most of the new snow melted. Problem is, we still had another foot of snow under the new 5 inches. Hopefully the warmer stuff is headin' eastward for ya............
Allen, Good to see the cubs put to work. The Super is getting left out from all the fun. Hope you get it back soon.

Made a new lift rod for the snow blower. Old one broke welds and I wanted an adjustable one anyway. Turned out pretty good I think. Had not welded the washer in place on the blower end in this pic but you get the idea :-)
Thought I would show how I made the bends in the press. Used a bar for the initial bend then then a angle to sharpen the bend more for the connection end. One shows the new bar matched up with the blade bar. And a spare I tested a sharp bend with before I made it on the lift bar. moderators - Can I get this moved to homemade or implements? |

Got the 1864 out on this beautiful 63° day and smoothed out some ruts in the yard and got some wood to have a fire on top of the stump in the foreground.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
