My not to be forgotten 122 is getting some upgrades. I just got a QA42 snowthrower for it and it’s been sitting in my garage waiting for a new piston and rings. I finally got around to it. Here’s post reinstall of the engine. I did the 82 series axle swap also, along with rear wheels (which I have chains for) left over from a 682 part out.

75 degrees here today... I'm going to think it out loud, I think I can remove the snow blade and thrower and put the mower decks on for spring.

Changed oil on the 122.
Rebuilt the shock mounts on the voltage regulator. There was only one side of one of the rubber mounts still hanging on. I drilled out the rivets, found some heavy rubber mat, cut scraps , then pop riveted everything back together again for another 50 yrs of service.

I put new shoes on the 86 today. Carlisle Tru powers 23 8.50 12 out back and Carlisle 4.80 4.0 8 power tracs on the front
