Hooked it up to the aerator, but still to much frost in the ground But I had fun just the same.
It still looks cold there Todd. Not to rub it in, but today, I was in short sleeves. Actually got a little hot! It will warm up soon buddy! After all, it's the middle of April!!! 149 looks GREAT! How's she run?

Thanks guys.
Jonathan it runs pretty good. Got a little more than usual exhaust smell, like unburned fuel, I'm needing to do some carburetor adjustment.
I used the dual stick 1650 before getting on the 149, then kept reaching on the wrong side for the control handle.
It was warm compared to what it has been, got into the low 50's, not t-shirt weather for this boy.
I looked at some pictures from March 2012, and the grass was green, and the trees were leafing, not this year.
Met a nice fellow today who picked up my 1250. He wanted something for a project he's planning so I let it go. All I was going to do was use it for parts anyway, so another one was saved

Not to rub it in, but it was mid 70°'s here yesterday with an expected 79° today, shorts and a t-shirt!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
