Oh, if you insist

Got about one fluffy inch of snow this morning, came in two droppings, so to speak. This is after I plowed the walk-ways at work once then we got dusted again so they may not look all that clean Bad news: Got to work and after 5 minutes of plowing in the back, the pin holding the lift arm on sheered so I had to stop for 15 minutes to find a suitable replacement. Good news: After I got the replacement in, the 1050 worked flawlessly for the rest of the morning. Was so much fun to do plus it was a hell of a lot quicker than using a shovel or walking behind a 32" slow snow blower. Plus, our bargin-bin salt spreader broke this morning so I talked my boss into buying a shiny new pull behind so no more manual snow removal for this guy

Got the 147 out for a small spin today to "warm 'er up" so to speak. It hasn't been run in about 2 weeks, and it isn't getting any warmer here (lows in the teens highs if we're lucky getting into the 30s). Snow is threatening- not looking for any record snows, but a chance to test out the new to me weights as of this summer would be great.

Thanks! Now I've got to get another pic of it with the new salt spreader on it, the yellow of the spreader almost matches the yellow of the Cub But boy I gotta say, I fell in love with the Cub all over again today. Last year, I'd spend almost half a day with a walk behind snow blower, a shovel, and a push spreader taking care of sidewalks at work; that's 3 passes (1 with the blower, 1 to clean up with the shovel, and 1 with the salt spreader). Today, I plowed the whole place and kept a shovel with me. There were only a few places I need to get off and clean up by hand. Then I made one pass with the salt spreader and violla! Done! I did the entire property in as much time as it took me to do one pass last year. Sorry for going on and on but this is a real life/time saver for me! I can't wait to get a big dump and pull the 682/QA-42A out and really see what's what! Heck, it might even be a special enough occasion that I'll video record a clip for you guys!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
