P.S. I worked for an engineer who designed parts for the space shuttle early in his career. A lot of great ideas came out of his head, but so did a lot of bullsh!t.
Exactly.
if you have 12" flowing out like a firehouse, what power source is he using other than electricity to pump it in and push it out at that rate?

Maybe a wood fired steam boiler to run a pump?

Although if he is in the weat end of North Carolina, maybe he is utilizing water flow from a flume like on the Ocoee River or river dam, etc.

You are probably right. He does tell me stories I can not believe. But, he's a very wealthy man, and has those moments of stupidity?

Thought I would update this old thread. After months of looking and reading, I finally settled on the Chevy Cruise. At 24k, there was nothing that compared to it. They really pushed the Volt on me,, but as I told them, it hasn't been tested long enough for me. There's no guaranteed battery life as it is a new concept car. The Cruise has a diesel engine, and that was what I was looking for.

GM's full statement: General Motors manufactures the Chevrolet Cruze sedan in Lordstown, Ohio. All Chevrolet Cruze sedans sold in the U.S. are built in GM's assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio. GM builds the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback for global markets in Mexico, with a small number sold in the U.S.

Bought some GM trucks last year and they had a listing of what percentage was made in the US, or was it North America--this was on the window sticker I believe.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
