Finished up plowing my new garden with the 125 and mowed the yard for the first time (with the 1811) before it started raining.

I don't live in the part of Illinois where the soil is black and pretty. It's not bad here, but our topsoil is pretty shallow. I was plowing about 5' consistently. Couldn't pull it any deeper than that. Here, you hit hard clay on average at 12". Most of the time the topsoil is good till around 8" or 9". In my garden spot I wasn't hitting clay at 5" but it started getting really hard. Topsoil is pretty good though!

Yeah, looks like we're all in for a few days of rain.

The 1811 is still wearing it's "coat". LOL. Didn't plan on using it for mowing duty. That's what I decided the 682's job was going to be, but until I get a motor in it, the 1811 will mow. Took the plexi off the bottom of the front of the cab and pulled the doors. Otherwise, looks like it did in the winter!

Nice location for the garden Jonathan little shade in the corner for your table and chairs to sit and watch the garden grow on a hot summer day.
Oh wait. It will get hot, right?

Default Carb adjustment for my 122

Hi. I am thinking I may need a carb adjustment on my 122. I rebuilt the carb and I was unsure of where to set the adjustment screws. Does anyone have info on how to do this? Thanks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
