I'm finally the owner of a smoker. I brought this 1572 home yesterday. The sheet metal and frame was powder coated red and clear coated. The red doesn't look that good in the picture because of this crap camera phone. I've got it torn down doing fuel lines, wiring stuff etc... I'll have to get some 982D decals made for it.

I like that 1572! I've thought about red paint for my 1872 but have also considered doing it all in CC yellow without the white. As you can tell I'm not a purist. I'd love to have a diesel and that would be the one. All my attachments would work on it.
Camarokid those duals look mean. I'd like to have those loaded and chained with all the snow we have been getting. Calling for 10"-20" more tomorrow. |

camarokidz28,
To bad about the chains. That would have looked so cool with chains on all 4 wheels :biggrin2.gif: I hope you do get some snow so i can see the Monster blade in action |

Got the rears in for the 982D. Now I just have to get the rims cleaned up and mount these babies.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
