Good to see I'm not the only one aerating in early October, looks great!

I took a few days off work for vacation before winter gets here and I won't be able to. So, this weekend, I pulled everything out of the garage, cleaned the floor up, and made room to get all 4 Cubs in for the winter out of the way (apparently, the g/f thinks she can park her car in my garage when it snows )

Ryan

Looking good. Hope you made room for the GF to park her car in your garage otherwise she may not let you park your car in her garage.

Great group photo Sam. I am cadet yellow (not green) with envy.

I didn't do anything with my cub but I did pick up a power turn plow. The PO installed a different hydraulic and reinforced the mount.

I took the 48 inch deck off my 1863, scraped all the caked grass from the inside and blew off the outside. I hauled it to the 25 cent car wash and sprayed it off, pumped grease in until it started coming out and changed the front gage wheels and bolts. I'll sharpen the blades this afternoon and put it in the outbuilding for the winter.

Well.... rained here for almost 4 days strait now. Decided the tillage tools are done for the year. Took them all to the shop and power washed them. Oiled up the tiller and the moldboard so they stay all shiny . Greased everything, now to but it back in the corner and pull the snow equipment out.

Ya-raw. (<that's my excited for snow sound )

We know the sound you make when you see a snake too....

cut the grass with the 100 yesterday and the teaser spring goes on it, so....
Time for a clutch rebuild!

new parts except the plates were trued on a lathe, painted, installed, happy happy!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
