The snow hasn't melted so I wanted to try out the 102. I know it isn't a lot of snow, but these old tractors always impress me whenever I use them. The tri-ribs really turn well too.

I finally got an alternator for the 1572 yesterday. Going to get it in tomorrow. The only bad part is I need to remove the front of the cab so I can get the side panels off.
This should complete the upgrades to the engine. I already did the glow plug and starter upgrade. ![]()

I got the alternator mounted last night. It wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be. Had to built a spacer and run a new 10ga charge wire.
I hope this works. Videos are kind of a new thing to me. You can hear how well this charges now. http://youtu.be/KQtBjdMlq7Y ![]() ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
