Finally put the PTO back in the 122. It only took two years, but have been busy with the new company.

Reassembled and tweaked engine to get her going after two years of down time and Varoom it actually worked on the first attempt!

I just love these K series Kohler engines

Mowed the whole lawn for the first time this year with the 1864. Then we cut down a small tree and did some cleanup with the Super. That hitch tray works good, but I sure would like to find a scoop-tote!

Looks like it was a fun day! That carrier looks useful. What is a scoop-tote?

It was a good day and so will today. Here is a pic of a scoop-tote. I know there are a few members on here that have them. They seem to be hard to find.

EDIT: Found a thread on here. Cubcrazy has one, go figure!

Went ahead and decided to salvage the old 3 piece cast iron deck for the "70".

Needless to say the Ryobi 18V grinder with cut off saw was my friend of the day getting the carriage bolts removed.

Off to the blaster this week

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
