That's great yes, thanks for the pics and info! He has that damper listed so hopefully they are still stocked. Now to see if he'll ship to western Canada and for how much.
I see you cleverly repurposed the lower bracket of the shift shaft. Do you miss the hand shift lever at all? I do use this tractor for some tilling. |

This is my current setup. I could pretty handily put the damper inside the frame on the right side and leave everything else as is.

NO! I always hated the hand lever, always seemed like you needed three hands.
I don't till with these machines but I can't see it being andy different. I do mow and blow snow. For the snow thrower it's especially great because you can back up, raise the thrower, and steer all at the same time. Tough to do with the hand control. |

I have a collar on the cross shaft that keeps it from shifting sideways. I can just weld a short lever to that. |

One more little project done today, painted and drying. I finally made an hood stop, fashioned after here on seen on OCC. Can’t remember who it was again for sure, but thanks. ?

Off the table and outside for some exercise. Everything went well except one “oops”.
The rear lift cylinder was run off the hydro implement circuit at 600psi and did struggle sometimes. Now it runs of the auxiliary pump at 1,600 psi and it lifts the 310 pounds of suitcase weights like nothing. And fast too! The “oops”. I carefully marked the hose to tube connection to have the float position on the downside of the cylinder and obviously marked it wrong. Now I have to take the fender pan off again to switch that.

Thanks! I’ll consider that a weighty compliment coming from a real GT veteran.
I definitely will need to get a neutral return damper if I want to I stay with the toe operated hydro control. I’ll give the head its third and final retorque now and put the top tins back on. I’ve got another rear lift project percolating in my head right now to.
