I know Lew, there are a "couple" things that are not "correct"!
And that's the only intake gasket I had on hand, so it'll work...

Very nice Mr. Zippy,I wish you asked if I had a nicer tag for the motor, will you be getting the correct gasket?

Looks too clean,get it dirty.

It's not "perfect" by a long shot, but thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Lew. I wanted the "born with tag" on it. As for the gasket, it had a couple extra holes in the outside, and I trimmed the top portion and brain faded the lower till I had it on, and just didn't feel like taking it off again.
Reason it's clean is, I just cleaned it... Nancy was using it through the summer, and it was filthy. Sad day coming for it soon, she don't want to use it anymore cause she's afraid to scratch it up or run into something with it, and I "might get mad"... And I can't use it, so..............

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
