No, they had to build it to match the SEW Vanguard crankshaft.

Finished fuel tank, sediment bowl and carb cleaning, installed new battery. Tried firing off for the first time. No Crank, back tracked to a bunch of cobbled wiring and a bad ignition switch. I have to decide if I am rewiring or buying one of the new harnesses. My key switch is sticky too and not seeing them available like the original or I think it is the original, has a JD key ???

Cut the lawn with the 2372 (1872) with the new Extreme PTO clutch for the first time yesterday. Things a beast compared to the old (original) worn out PTO. Plowing through grass like it was 3" instead of 6".
Very happy with it's performance. Thanks for the recommendation Sam Mac "Hopped" back on today to cut over at the company, and that "lawn" was all of 6" with a bunch of dead grass in amongst the green stuff and it didn't miss a beat. That thing is one strong PTO clutch for certain. Happy, happy, happy. If any of you all are in the need of a replacement clutch, I would highly recommend one from Extreme. https://xtremeope.com/

You've got that right. I told the wife I'm getting a bigger tandem axle by next spring.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
