Good work Nick...
Why not replace the head gasket now, instead of "soon"?

since im waiting on parts for the turbo build i decide to do a few other things that have been bugging me. for one the sagging coolant hose rubbing on the valve cover has been bothering me so i took care of that with a few things i had laying around. the valve cover had these 3 mounts for who knows what so i utilized one of them. the stainless #10x24 screws i had fit perfect in the pre-drilled holes. just dripped a tap in there to give me some threads. next, i bent and twisted a piece of steel for a bracket, then used a PVC clamp to hold the coolant hose to the bracket. worked out good.

next up was the rear hydro ports that were held on with a zip tie. i ditched the zip tie for a hydraulic hose clamp. made up a bracket and bolted it to one of the support bars for the backhoe. makes popping the quick connects on off a breeze and i looks much better too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
