Great looking model 80! Has it been restored? That has to be the best model 80 I have seen!

That 80 deserves some respect. Most are a pile and not worth much.

There are a million parts out there for them, unless you have a SO76 like I do and need SO76 specific parts, like the white steering wheel.

actually i think it is all original! it still has the original dealer stickers on it from reily motor sales international dealer in reily ohio. appears to not have been dented scratched up etc. steering is quite playful about 1/4 turn though.

I appoligize for the delayed response, this is the first time I've been able to get back, don't know if the site was down or it was on my end but I kept getting a search page?
I do have a photo of the 125, somewhere.... I'll keep looking.... this is a great site, thanks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
