Lookin good Todd!! That is some purdy grass you got there What kinda grass do you have mostly? Looks a little like St Augustine or Fescue? Around here most of ours is Centipede or Bermuda. I cant keep mine cut this year... abundant rain has kept it hopping!!

A few days ago I was only on my second day of big mowing with my new 1863, parked it for a little bit and came back to see all of its oil underneath it. And just when I thought I had one that would stay out of the shop!

Thanks Jay. I have no idea the type of grass it is, it's been here all my life. It was mostly pasture at one time, then when we got rid of the cattle and I started mowing it, so it's the "wild" variety...
It looks WAY better in pictures than in person. There's a wide range of clover, alfalfa, crabgrass, and some other broadleaf. It's green, that's all I know. If the yard wasn't so big, I'd like to treat it and get rid of the undesirables, but that ain't happening, would cost a small fortune.

Did some pressure washing on my new to me 1641 this afternoon, after I vacuumed the grass and oil mix out for about an hour! need to pull the motor now and open it up, I guess its got a broken rod inside. already pulled the pto to put on my other 1641, it was blown up on that one.

There is a section of my yard I've neglected to mow the last couple times since I was in a hurry, Saturday I had plenty of time and here's a video of the 1211 taking care of business. The grass was about 8" tall and when I was done the clippings were 4" thick, the 1211 has gator blades on it.

Worked at the cemetery filling in sunken pathways between rows of graves.
The 882 did an outstanding job.

All you need is a hay rake, and mini bailer.

No doubt. The clippings were so deep they were locking up the lawn sweeper.

I tried to put on the lift pin assembly of the sleeve hitch for my 107 until I realized I was missing a bracket!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
