Smile New from Arizona

Just purchased a Cub Cadet 109. It was professionally gone through about 6 years ago and restored to factory new. the only thing is it has no hanger frame or mowing deck. I'm trying to purchase one off Ebay right now its a 44" looks like it might fit guess i'll find out.

I really just bought it because I like the looks of it, and if nothing else will enjoy driveing it pulling the grand children around in a trailer. Don't tell the wife though.... She thinks I bought it to mow grass.

LOL......Welcome to our Forum.......

The only bad thing about owning a IH built Cub Cadet, ya just can't have one...it leads to more.

I think the 44" deck will work with the right sub-frame and mule drive.

Let us know if you need help figureing it out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
