Default Hello from OH

Hello all, new to the site and cubs! Story goes like this.

I was called to help my uncle move antiques out of a store his wife was closing. In the small barn were we stored the items happen to be sitting a Cub 149. He needed the room and not the tractor (or the Blower, Blade, and a nice trailer). So I am currently an indentured servant(working off the Great combo).

Here is how it came home! Ill post some more pics in the IH Cub section.

He got any more barns that need to be cleaned out? I'll let you do the work and I'll haul them on that sweet trailer you got! Your really going to love that 149. It's a very popular model. Great line up of attachments as well!

Welcome to the addiction errrr opps HOBBY!

Welcome to the club, Nice tractor and trailer!! That's how I recently acquired my 2nd Original. I detail my boss's cars on the side and they gave me 4 cars to do @ $200 each and the tractor ran me $800, so it worked out perfectly!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
