Hello from PA.
Hi everyone
I live north of Lebanon PA and have been hanging around this nice forum for a bit.I did alot of reading and I thank all who share the information and know how,I learned a few things.I also enjoy the pictures of the tractors no matter what condition they are in,thanks again. Myself,I keep two IHcubs running one is a 122 and the other a 106 which I saved from the scrap yard and it took alot of work, parts ect.I mow my lawn with 106 most of the time. The 122 I got with a bad engine knock, the crank and cam were junk so I replaced it with a K241. I got a snow blade,.chains and weights and will use it for snow duty. Here are some pics of my humble collection. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
