Picked up a few Goodies Today
Went to look at a Cub 70 this morning along with a few attachments. Could have bought the 70 and all attachments for 3 Bills. Had no way to get the tractor home. Did make it home with a Brinly Rear Hitch, a Brinly 8" plow and a set of Discs. Every one likes pictures so I too a few. Hope I still remember how to attach them.

Nice score....
I hope to find myself a brinly made bracket as well at some point. Mine is home made... nothing wrong at all with it being that way and is very close to correct but I want one with the tag...

Goodies
Thanks for the comments. The 70 has no fenders and was a non runner. Turned over by hand. Probably carburetor needs cleaned and maybe points adjusted. Really have no room for it and narrow frames are probably harder to work on than a wide frame. Just my thoughts. Everyone have a great day.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
