Question for the painting Guru's
I am in need of a new paint gun, as my trusty Harbor Freight gun has seen better days. Not only do I use it for painting my cubs I also do finish work in my wood working hobby. I found these on E-bay. Good deal or not?
Thanks https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-HVLP-Air-...YAAOSw37BaVGVx

Spray guns.
I would not purchase those guns for 2 reasons. 1 you can get almost that identical set less the pretty carry case for 50$ https://pulsar.ebay.com/plsr/clk/0/S...Mt%2FlDW%22%7D
Reason 2. these guns are kinda crappy, you cant find internal parts to replace needle valves and seals. Spend $150 or $200 on a 1 good gun that comes with a 1.6 tip and needle for primer and a 1.3 or 1.4 for your base coats or single stage paints. it literally takes a min to change over from primer setup to paint. Good luck

Unless you are painting in a professional spray booth I think the POS China Freight guns are pretty dang good. I won't feel bad when I throw a $9.99 gun in the trash after it stops working well but I'm still using the first one I purchased.

I totally agree with Oak and Alvy. The OP had a link up from ebay for 3 Made in china guns for $350. I was just saying if your going to spend hundreds on a higher end gun just get one good one. We keep a couple Astro's around the shop for single stage equipment jobs but for classic cars and trucks and some higher end equipment we use Sata Jet 5000's . Pearls, flake jobs, or candies come out better with a gun that has a little more control.

I don't have a clue how that price came about. But the one I linked to was 59.00 free shipping. NOOOOOOOOOO I would never pay that for a hobby paint gun. I made that post in Feb. apparently this nut changed the price.

Seriously, he made a typo! $356 instead of $56 but try to get the $300 refund and you will found out how full of B/S this scammer his. If the OP want to spend $50 he better pick 2 HF and keep them clean.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
