Default 50a mule drive pulley bearings

Bearings are bad on the pulleys of my 50a deck mule drive. They are held in place with snap rings. Only number I can find on bearings is "1623". Have searched the internet and can not come up with a correct match. Also tried search on only cub cadets. Can any one help me out with this? Thanks and have a great day.
Bob

The Mule Drive Idler Pulleys for both the 50 & 50A were Part Number: IH-61176-C92.

For the bearings only you have lots of choices here;

Google search - bearing 1623 that was pretty easy!

And the same for the 44 and 44a decks also?

The pulleys with the replaceable bearings are solid machined units. Nice to have.

If you need an entire new pulley, I've been pleased with these Stens units on my Quietlines with model 44, 44a and 50 decks;

I’ve used those pulleys as well with good results. I’ve also sprayed rough turning pulley bearings on the mule drive with kroil or pb blaster with good results also.

The Stens aftermarket replacements are cheaper than the $23.71 that Cub wants.

Default mule drive bearing

Thanks for the part# Roland. My Deck is a 50 and not a 50A. My mistake. My pulleys are in great shape and very heavy duty. I am looking to just buy the bearings as the clip into the pulley. Thanks to all that replied and have a great day.

I am unaware, that you can buy just the bearings for the Mule Drive Pulleys. The bearings are put into the pulley assembly, and then either spot welded or riveted in place. The parts manual makes no mention of just the Bearing.

This is the correct IH-61176-C92 Idler Pulley for the 50 & 50A Mower Deck Mule Drives.

The previous, is a pulley for the "Tiller" Mule drive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
