Default Just bought 2 model 149's

My name is Rob, I'm a pipe-fitter from New Jersey. I ran across this site looking for info on ways to restore my Cub. I found there is a ton of knowledge here that will definitely come in handy....so thx in advance. I paid 300 for the 2 of them. 1 runs supposedly (basket case), the other is mainly for parts. Included was a plow and a 50 in mower deck. Plow has surface rust and deck is in rougher shape. I gotta lot of work to do.....

Love to!

My biggest problem is free time, so a meet and great at 1 am would be perfect for me!

Otherwise I'll be bringing the kids

Reality speaks... Good job, kids should always be first.

So maybe the first meet and greet is at a Burger King that has a play area
I'll bring my little ones as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
