Default Picked a deluxe cab frame

I pick up this CC deluxe cab frame today in Moriah NY. The asking price was cheaper then dirt, so I grabbed it and ran like a chicken!
I was already planning doing one using 1" aluminum square tube I purchase last fall, but this save me a bunch of work and precious spare time.

Great score. I just got one like that with curtain doors. You will really appreciate it this winter!

Yes, as long I find enough spare time to fabricate the doors since those curtain doors can't be purchased anymore. The structure looks pretty skinny so I need to find a way to fabricate extra lightweight doors or beef up the frame structure with steel.

PS: Too bad I didn't have my trailer and more time to explore that neck of the wood, I saw a nice Sim cab and many Cub Cadet "goodies" for sale on each side of the road on my way back home.

Congrats on the cab frame!

You might check in with someone who does convertible top replacement. They might be able to make you doors.

Just an fyi.....the chrome fitting in the middle and at the top of your windshield is for a windshield wiper, just in case you did not already know. Soft jeep doors come close to fitting it and the squared fenders, but they are way too short to cover all of the way to the top.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
