FYI.....
Fastenal just delivered to me a 260lb welder on a pallet.
Rate was .0002404 x weight x point to point miles.
(for me it was .0002404 x 260 x 2000 miles = $125)
It took two full weeks via Indianapolis and Atlanta before getting to Pensacola.
Arrived in same shape as it did when put on pallet.
Just do not expect it to be fast delivery.
The local Fastenal Store even delivered it in their pickup to my place of work. No additional charge.
Although our company does a lot of business with them, they were not making any deliveries that day to us.

I was going to ship a 127 from Canton, GA to Pensacola.
Told them it was 750lbs gross. It had to be on a pallet.
They won't allow it to be pushed around.
Gas tank empty with plastic visqueen under fill cap.
360 miles was $115

Will have to remember this for any future needs. That is more than reasonable and could not have expected it to get there any faster for that kind of money. Great Deal!

I have never had a problem with them, I have never had long waits either. But for the cost I wait a few extra days. and they did tell me when I 1st talked to them before posting here, the extra stuff (our stuff) goes only if a space is open on a truck. so in these cases those of us living in smaller towns really never have a wait due lower volume of merchandise going to smaller stores.

the only draw back at all with Fastenal, they don't take 3rd party freight to California.

I feel its worth mentioning that even ordering stuff from their website takes FOREVER to get to you. 2 weeks on average has been my experience with them the 2-3 times I've ordered online. The service is good and it does always show up though.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
