Latest haul: Cub 125 and 1450
Welp,
Things have gotten completely out of control I've had a lot of time at the house during this Coronavirus business and have started expanding my Cub collection. Here's the latest: I purchased these from a very sweet lady whose husband has unfortunately become ill. My plan is to keep the 1450 for myself, and gift the 125 to friends of ours who recently purchased a home. It should be perfect for their property. The total haul is: 3 snowblowers, 1 42" WF plow, a Curtis cab, 3-point, spring assist, head/taillights on both, and 42/44" decks. The tractors were last run a year ago. I thought the front tires were interesting. They are Carlisle's but look like ATV tires. Should work well, but look a bit strange. Paid $500 for the lot, which I thought was a pretty good score given the excellent condition of the tractors.

Pic of plow and cab along with some other unrelated cub stuff:
She also gave me some NOS IH Hytran cans, an air filter, and two hydro filters.

those tires look like winter studs for a dane electric shopping cart pusher. They work well for that application

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
