Long story but here goes.... well, I was loading the kubota up on my trailer Sunday afternoon and as I was loading, the truck/trailer started sliding and broke free. Truck was in park w/em brake and trailer scotched as I was on a slight downhill grade. Well, I'm sitting about half on the trailer sliding down hill and in total shock, my wife and neighbor run up to try and get in the truck and my wife manages to get her hand on the brake, but it throws her out. The truck crashes and goes through a neighbors house, the trailer jackknifes and throws the kubota off with me on it, the kubota flips and I get knocked out, luckily outside of heavy brusing that's all that's wrong with me.
My wife ended up fracturing her L1 vertebrae and had surgery Tuesday to fuse it. The Dr. said there should be a full recovery. I thank God that it wasn't worse, either one of us could have been killed, or someone could have been in that house, or our kids could have ran out in the road, anything. Everything has been material losses, truck and trailer totaled, I don't know about the kubota, haven't been home, but Kristy will be fine. My dad did say he noticed when they got the truck on a rollback that the back wheels were rolling, so if something broke on the truck or what, I don't know, but even when the deputy checked the truck was in park with the emergency brake on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
