I have a problem with a Cub Cadet 30H rear engine rider. I believe I have a blown fuse but I cannot locate the fuse on the equipment. I know it is supposed to be near the battery and on the positive cable array, but I am still lost. I am in my 80s and getting down and crawling the damn thing is out of the arena of reality. If you have a video showing the fuse location or a hint as to where it is i would appreciate it greatly.
I forgot to mention that the mower was purchased in 2018 and it has the addition of the small metal extension welded to the bracket where the attachments are secured to the mower deck to prevent the plastic attachment from warping and not deactivating the safety switch plunger.

First, welcome to OCC............

I have NO experience with this model. However, this is what the Owners Manual says:

Quote:
It can be found at the rear of the riding mower, underneath the fender located by the battery.

When you locate the fuse, whether it is blown or not,
you should still watch this video.....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
