Thanks. It is in ruff shape, so if I could get it cheap it might be worth messing with just need to make a deal. Thanks again. I will keep you posted.

What he said, If it's cheap I'd go for it. To bad it's not a 1211, a hydro tractor with manual lift is a waste. I can sell you all the parts to add hydraulic lift.

Hard to argue with your findings but a 1211 has hydraulic lift and a 1210 has manual, I wonder if the frame or tag could have possibly been switched.

I agree..... BUT, the 1211 had hydro lift while the 1210 was manual. It's possible that he read the number wrong as the only difference is "2" or "3".

Looks like a good parts machine. Probably take quite a bit to get it going again. I wouldn't give more than about $75. I suppose if the tires hold air, it may be worth a bit more, but not much. Looks like it's been there for quite some time.

Done some research into the archives. The 1210/1211 are identical except....1210 has Manual lift....1211 has Hydraulic Lift.

Now given the picture and the model tag data posted, seems something does not jive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
