Default White Build-up in Exhaust

I took my muffler off my 147 to fix an exhaust leak, and noticed this white build-up inside. Is it normal or anything to worry about?

I could try to get better pictures if these are not good enough.

I probably should have mentioned that I put a new spark plug in about 4 months ago and that one had a build up like that. Here is a picture of the one in it now.

Looks like your DEF nozzle is leaking!

Seriously, looks like you're burning some oil, and hot! Have you checked the timing? Tuned the carb? Checked the head gasket?

I have to add oil almost every time I use it.

I have not checked any of that stuff, but I'm guessing I should.

That's what I figured. Oil burner.
Might be a tad lean, but it looks more like you just use it and get it hot while working it. Not much you can do short of an overhaul. I'd still make sure the carb it tuned right. Itherwise, put it back together and run it until you can get a new motor.

I build them by the way....

I'll check the carburetor and keep using it. I want to get it rebuilt eventually.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
